Setting up your Wu Yee email signature

Step 1 – Go to settings menu

In Gmail, click on the Settings button (in the upper right corner that looks like a gear). In the dropdown menu, click on the fifth option, “Settings."

Step 2 – Turn on signature option

In the first tab, General, there will be several options. Scroll down to “Signature.” There will be two options, the first is “No signature,” the second will have your name and email address. Click on the second one.

Step 3 – Adding in signature

In the box below, type your signature. Make sure that your font is Sans Serif, normal size, and that your name is bold. It should be formatted as follows:

Jane Doe
Home Visitor

WuYee.png

888 Clay St, Floor 3
San Francisco, CA 94108
P: 415.XXX.XXXX F: 415.XXX.XXXX
www.wuyee.org

Tips:

  • When typing the phone and fax number, make sure to format it like this: 415.XXX.XXXX. Use dots instead of the parentheses and dashes.
  • Make sure that your selected font is “Sans Serif” and is size “normal.” All text should be in black.
  • Do not include your email address or any other additional information.

Step 4 – Add the logo

The logo should have one space above it, and one space below it. Create space between your title and address, and click where you want the logo to go. Remove the current image, if you have one. Then, click on the add photo icon in Signature menu box that looks like a mountain.

Select "Web Address (URL)" and paste in the following link: http://goo.gl/v41aQZ

Do not copy any other image or link, ONLY the one above. Otherwise your signature will not work.

Select “Original Size.” That’s it! Your email signature should now be ready.

Step 5 – Confidentiality statement (if applicable)

If you would like to include a confidentiality statement, use the following (you will need to reformat it in Gmail if you copy and paste):
