BOARD OF DIRECTORS / BOARD COMMITTEES

Wu Yee is looking for people interested serving on the Board of Directors. The board works closely with the Executive Director, and is responsible for fiscal and programmatic oversight of the agency. The board meets once every month – the fourth Monday of every month – in the evening. We are currently seeking people with some of the following qualifications and interests: child development/early childhood education, accounting (CPA), employment law, fundraising/marketing, advocacy and community organizing. We want our board to be passionate about our mission, and to represent a diversity of people.

Wu Yee also welcomes people who are interested in serving on a board committee as non-board members. Our current active and upcoming committees include our Development/Special Events, Finance, Program and Personnel Committees. Most committees meet on a monthly basis, as needed.
