Child Care

         Through a dynamic partnership with families, at Wu Yee we seek to provide high quality childcare and support services early in the lives of children.   We believe that education and health are lifelong gifts that empower people to improve conditions for their families and communities. Our Child Development Program provides full-day, year-round services to children ages 0-5 and pregnant women through Early Head Start, Head Start, and state subsidized child care and child development programs. These programs cater to low-income families, including families with children with disabilities. We also offer private preschool slots to higher-income families with children between the ages of 3 and 5. Currently, our centers are located in the Tenderloin, Chinatown, and Visitacion Valley neighborhoods of San Francisco. Our Child Development Program reflects the cultural, linguistic and ethnic diversity of our communities.
