The Child Care Food Program (CCFP) has been established by the federal government and administered by the California Department of Education to help ensure that children receive nutritious and well-balanced meals while in day care. Wu Yee Children’s Services, as a Food Program sponsor, is dedicated to supporting quality child care through its ongoing nutrition education services, technical assistance, resources materials, and meal reimbursements that will aid in day-to-day caring for children.
Participation requirements:
- Be a licensed Family Child Care Provider
- Serve USDA approved meals
- Maintain simple daily record of meals served
- Participation in annual nutrition training
