Hien grew up in the south of Vietnam and moved to San Francisco two years ago. She has a background in banking and IT and has been supporting Wu Yee with her Salesforce administration skills. She is excited to be a part of the Ambassador program and to continue helping this important cause.
Angela is currently an account strategist at Google, helping SMBs who advertise online to grow their business. Originally from Massachusetts, she graduated from the University of Chicago and studied History and Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies. She is passionate about racial equity and equal educational opportunity, which starts with early childhood education. As a Wu Yee Ambassador, Angela is working with the Director of Advancement to craft the organization's case statement.
Laura is currently a Pediatric manager at Kaiser Permanente, San Francisco. She has worked with the organization for over 11 years and enjoys every minute. She has a background in Health Education and program planning. She has worked in programs including Pediatrics, Women’s Health and Prenatal Care, Oncology survivorship, and Emotional Wellness. She looks forward to working with Wu Yee and helping the families they serve.
As a former preschool educator, Licette considers herself to be a dedicated lifelong learner and advocate for early care and education. She recently earned a Masters in Public Administration from San Francisco State University. She looks forward to supporting the children, families, and educators in the Wu Yee community.
Winnie is a Marketing Operations Specialist at Cloudflare with prior experience working in the retail technology industry. She has a passion for event planning and assisted organizing one of the largest student-run events at UC Davis, Picnic Day. She is excited to use her knowledge to strive towards community growth and development.
Martha grew up in Southern California in a largely Latino community. She completed her undergrad at UC Santa Barbara and graduate studies at the University of Hawaii, Manoa. She joined Kaiser Permanente in 2015, and loves working in a place that advocates for quality patient care that focus on improving the health of its members and communities. In her current position, she aims to empower and support families on their journey to make behavior changes to improve their health.
Kevin is currently a Senior Growth Manager with Mos.com, a startup on a mission to streamline bureaucratic processes to ensure that every citizen can exercise their rights and benefits to the fullest extent. Before, he worked in health tech and internet connectivity. Kevin believes that technology should be proactively embraced not for its own sake, but to drive societal benefit. Originally from France, Kevin holds degrees in Engineering and Statistics from Ecole Polytechnique and Harvard.
Eyra is a recent college graduate from UC Santa Cruz. She was born in El Salvador and moved to San Francisco at the age of nine. San Francisco has been her home for the past 14 years. Growing up, she always had a strong sense of serving my community. Eyra is excited to be part of Wu Yee's ambassador program and to give back.
Sandy is a systems specialist at Genentech and a new San Francisco resident. She looks forward to volunteering and improving the lives of the Wu Yee families. Sandy enjoys reading, hiking, and looking for that next delicious restaurant to try!
