Wu Yee delivers comprehensive services throughout the City of San Francisco. We serve over 4,000 children, families and child care providers each year.
We provide Early Head Start, Head Start, and State Preschool programs, Child Care Resources and Referrals, Child Care Subsidies and the Family Child Care Quality Network (FCCQN). The Employment Resource Coordinator works closely with Child Development staff to coordinate and implement career services for families. They will reach out and work closely with community partners to source jobs, and job opportunities for parents with children in our programs.
In addition the Employment Resource Coordinator will work with closely with parents to provide job placement, job resources/ readiness and career exploration. They will be responsible for facilitating trainings for staff members, as well as monitoring and tracking placement and reporting.
Who we are looking for:
- Bilingual in Cantonese/English required (both written and verbal)
- Strong experience in career resources development and employment placement required
- Experience with supporting low income families
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and experience with data entry
- Bachelor’s Degree required
