Join us as we raise awareness about early childhood education. Quality child care and education keeps families working and is vital for success in school and life. Walk around the block at City Hall (or in your own neighborhood) to say yes to retaining, restoring, and raising investments in child care.

The Week of the Young Child is a time to recognize that we are all responsible for enhancing children’s opportunities.
During this week, we'll highlight our commitment to ensuring that every child has access to enriching experiences at home, at child care, at school, and in the community that promote their early learning and a lifetime of success. Budget cuts to services for children and families stunt children’s learning and growth, and prevent families from working and contributing to California’s economy. Without affordable, high-quality early care and education services, it is difficult for parents to work, go to school, or attend job training. San Francisco’s families deserve increased access to high-quality early childhood programs in order to provide for their families and maintain self-sufficiency.
Join us on Friday, March 6 from 3 - 4:30 pm for a 4 Corner Friday: a community-building event to help strengthen relationships among neighbors in the Tenderloin - residents, families, children, businesses, organizations, housed and unhoused.
4 Corner Friday is a project of Golden Gate Avenue Block Safety Group, an informal coalition of organizational stakeholders along Golden Gate Avenue and Leavenworth Street that meets to discuss street level community safety needs and how we can improve address them collectively.
We'll see you at Golden Gate Ave and Leavenworth St with some fun activities for kids of all ages!
